January
28th 2006, photojournalists involved in the project had a brieefing in a
confraternity day. Later, they celebrated a lunch with "cocido
galego", in O Cebreiro, small village in the high mountains of Lugo.February and march photographers are shooting digital and rolls cameras in the Camiño. Tine Harden had been for one week in Galicia as well. In the next weeks we'll upload the selection of pictures that will publish in the pocket photobook and in the exhibition in Copenhaguen 21st june 06. All photographers will go to the presentation.
31st march all the pictures have to be ready. Organization gaves till march 10th to finish the project, considering that the weather in the last weeks in Galicia was bad with many rain and wind. Authors said that they want take pictures with snow, and others weather conditions, and as well sunnny days.
Photographers ask to the curator to follow the project during all year to get more different pictures.
Page editor is working in the layouts of leaflet and book. The book will have 250 pages aprox, and publish in 3 languages: galego, english and spanish.

Open to applying candidates photojournalists to become the project
Photographers from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Latvia can send aplications to be selected for the next assignment to cover the Camiño in summer season. Aplications will be send to delmi@delmialvarez.com. Emails dont will reply, and only the selected candidates will recieve notification. Delmi Alvarez as curator of the project will send the aplications to the other 5 participants. In a meeting they will decide about which photographer get the assignment. The selected photographers will get a grant of flight ticket to Santiago de Compostela, hotel for 5 days, and a rent car, plus honoraries for the work. The photographers will be give a amount of pictures designed by organizers. A agreement will be signed with the organization.
End of september
Photographers from Galicia delivery the photographs of summer seasson. A book is printing.
End of october
Photographers from Norway, Sweden, Finland and Latvia travel to Galicia on assignment. They should delivery photographs to print in book with the galicians and print copies to the exhibition. Each photographer will have 15 frames to show her work in Bergen, Stockholm, Helsinki and Riga.
End of november
All photographers participants should delivery photographs to book and final exhibition.
2007 exhibitions
Bergen will be the second place where the tour of exhibition will arrived. 16th february 2007 in Bryggens museum.
Riga, Latvia. Museum of Art and Design locate in Vecriga (Old Town) of the city.
