Welcome
to the photographic project Un Camiño trece olladas (One way, thirteen looks) in Galicia (Saint James Way). Supported by Xacobeo,
Turgalicia, and the Direccion
Xeral de Turismo of the Xunta de Galicia began the documentary work of
six Galician photographers as exhibition by Copenhagen the
21st of June 2006 and will follow by european cities. In addition to the
exhibition two books are published. The authors began their work in
January and they delivery the images the 31 of March, 30 of October
and 30 of November, with a final edition in meeting where they
reviewed and will close the project. One way, 13 looks is the
conceptual
vision of each artist on this old route of so well-known peregrination
to Santiago de Compostela.
In the Holly year of 1999, Delmi Alvarez walked on assignment for the newspaper El Correo Gallego two very important Camiños of Santiago: "Francés", from Roncesvalles, and "Portugués", from Lisbon. It went a exciting experience during the 30 days that he walked each one and photographing and writing the daily life of day by day
.
There are many world-wide photographers whom have photographed the experience of the Camiño documenting with their
analogical or digital cameras. The conceptual spirit of this project
is the commitment of each photographer with Galicia, the Camiño and its
surroundings. The
exhibition contains images of each author in a
exhibition in classic black frames, passpartout and prints in Lambda process paper by Galicia Color (A Coruña).The
first
exhibition was in a old church of Copenhaguen centre. The
exhibition project is travelling around this cities and countries,
Prague,Caltagirone, Alicante, Castellon, Denmark,Czech, Norway,
Sweden, Finland and Latvia. For further
