Europa, paradise of broken dreams: Greece the gateway.

A family from Afghanistan crossing by a corn field in the village of Nea Vyssa, northern Greece, after crossing the river Evros.Orestiada, Nea Vyssa, Fylakio, Soufli detention camps in northern Greece. Illegal immigration on the greek border. Thousands os immigrants from Africa and Asia had crossed illegally the border between Greece and Turkey. Greece is the gateway to enter in the European Union. The situation in the detention camps is inhuman and with total lack of dignity. Immigrants don't have the minimum services to be detained. Hundreds of persons are mixed in old police stations, most of them in insanity health conditions. The photographs are a part of the documentary project.

Meninos live on the streets of Salvador and many others working in the slavery of pedreiras and sisal. The project is not yet exhibited and only one time published in El Progreso de Lugo, newspaper	Galician Diaspora. Long term documentary photographic essay about Galician Diaspora in the world. Begin this project in 1989 collecting people from Galiica country in four trips around the world: Europa, Americas, Asia&Oceania and Africa.
